Today we’re announcing our $47M Series C, led by Brighton Park Capital, bringing Daloopa’s total funding to over $100M. We’re also pleased to have Squarepoint Capital invest in this round — a firm that lives and breathes quantitative, data-driven research. Our early investors Nexus Venture Partners and Touring Capital also participated.
Why now
Every serious conversation in finance right now ends up in the same place: AI deployments are only as good as the data powering them. The firms that move fastest and deploy AI the best in this new environment will be the ones that solve the data layer first.
Seven years ago, when we started the company, we started it with the thesis that the best data wins in finance. Perfecting data is not easy. We had to train proprietary models before AI became a household term, we had to build processes to label data correctly, and create organization centered around a culture of perfection.
Where we are
Data consumption on our platform is growing exponentially. Our customers started as hedge funds, and that remains a core segment, but over half of our new opportunities are asset managers, banks, and other financial institutions that face the same data quality problems with less tolerance for manual workarounds. The market is larger than we originally scoped it, and the use cases are multiplying faster than we expected.
What comes next
We will use this capital to do three things. First, build the AI-native products our customers are asking for — workflows, agents, and analytical tools that sit on top of our data infrastructure and deliver insight. Second, deepen the data itself: more companies, more granularity, faster updates, broader coverage across the segments we’re entering.
Third, we’re hiring across engineering, product, data, and go-to-market. If you want to build a business that focuses on extreme quality, we would love to talk to you.
To our customers, investors, and team — thank you. The work ahead will be harder, but I cannot be more excited for what is to come.
